FAQs

Our Sunday service typically lasts about 90 minutes, starting at 11:00 AM and wrapping up around 12:30 PM. Here's a general outline of what you can expect:
The service begins with a worship song to set the tone for the day.
A practical and engaging message follows, lasting about 45 minutes.
After the message, we have a time of worship and the opportunity to receive prayer.
We then move into a time of feedback and discussion, where people are welcome to share their thoughts and insights about the message we just listened to.
At the end, we share a few announcements about upcoming events and opportunities to get involved before we dismiss.
We aim to create a welcoming and authentic atmosphere where you can grow spiritually and connect with others.

Gravetop Church is a non-denominational church. Rather than being tied to a specific denomination, our focus is on our purpose: bringing people from death to life through the transformative power of Jesus Christ.
Our vision is to create a community where people can be their genuine selves as we discover our purposes in God together. We welcome individuals from all backgrounds to join us on this journey of faith, love, and authentic connection.

Gravetop Church was founded by Pastor Homer and Lauren in February 2017. Though both were originally from San Antonio, they were serving as youth pastors in Del Rio, Texas, when they felt a call from God to return to their hometown to start what would become Gravetop Church. This calling came during a 21-day fast at the beginning of 2016.
The church began humbly in their one-bedroom apartment, with their first service hosting just 18 people. After about a year, they moved into a bar during its off-hours, and from there, they’ve met in various locations, eventually settling into their current space at Adrenaline Dance Studio.
Despite being a small church, Gravetop has made a big impact. From offering free hugs and scripture at the Alamo, to leading high school Christian clubs, providing meals and winter essentials to the homeless, and ministering to those in recovery centers, the church has stayed true to its mission of bringing people from death to life through Jesus Christ.
Our history is a testament to the power of faith and the incredible ways God can use anyone who is willing to step out in faith.
